Monday 31 January 2022, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of its foundation, CIZETA MEDICALI S.p.A. will host the Olympic Champions in the 20km race walk at Tokyo 2020, Antonella Palmisano and Massimo Stano, at the Cuggiono headquarters.
The day will be entirely dedicated to sport and the two gold medals and will see the welcome of the two athletes into the company and their tour to discover the world of compression socks and bracelets, with a particular focus on the application of graduated compression to the products of the Compression Zone sports line, chosen by the Olympic Champions and which earned them both the gold medal in Tokyo, with two tests of enormous importance.
Antonella Palmisano and Massimo Stano will be accompanied to discover the entire production process: from the creation of the compression product, to the correct taking of measurements, up to packaging, passing through the actual industrial production phase.
The company’s aspiration is to explain what lies behind an apparently simple sock, but whose creation involves the union of highly complex scientific studies and the artisanal use of highly technological materials: the Compression Zone products have, in fact, the objective of improving the performance of athletes in a natural way, exploiting the application of external compression to act on the circulatory system and improve resistance and oxygenation of the muscles during sporting activity
The trip signed by Compression Zone will end with the celebration of the Olympic victory and the award ceremony of the two Champions in full CIZETA MEDICALI S.p.A. style. For the occasion, the main local authorities will also be present in the company: the Mayor of Cuggiono, Giovanni Cucchetti, and the Councilor delegated for Sport, Marco Testa.
The event will take place in full compliance with the anti-covid regulations currently in force.
